Lilli Jacobs (she, her, hers) is director, choreographer, teaching artist and performer based in New York City. 

 

Creative credits include director & associate choreographer for Matilda at The Bushnell Performing Arts Center in Hartford, CT and director/choreographer for Urinetown at The Riverside Theatre in NYC with A Class Act NY.  Ms. Jacobs also helmed The Wolves by Sarah DeLappe and Dance Nation by Clare Barron for Boston Conservatory’s in-house theatre company, Earthstone Theatre Co. 

 

As a concert dance choreographer, Ms. Jacobs was most recently commissioned to create accompanying choreography for the international visual art exhibit Signs of Compassion, which was featured at the New York United Nations headquarters. Other original works include Rockman at Interim Dance Collective’s spring gala (Gibney NYC) as well as Steps on Broadway Studio Theatre, where she has created new pieces for the Steps on Broadway Academy students for the past two years. She has also contributed as a movement consultant for dance residencies at Movement Space New York. 

 

Lilli’s performance credits include the Broadway National Tour of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, The Crucible at Hartford Stage, Parade at Boston Center for the Arts (winner, Boston Theatre Critics Association Award for Outstanding Musical) A Little Princess at the Signature Theatre Co. (U.S. Premiere) and more. Selected work in film and TV include I Love You but I Lied (Lifetime) Mother Goose Club (Netflix/PBS) and a lead role in The Little Violinist, a studio short which garnered over eight international film festival awards, in addition to national commercials and voiceover spots. 

 

Lilli graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from The Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and is an equally passionate arts educator for students of all ages. She is currently on faculty at Steps on Broadway Academy, Interim Dance Collective, SBE Studios, The Dance Collective, and teaches masterclasses across the country.
